1. Introduction and Acceptance of Terms
By purchasing or accessing membership to Animal Keeper Academy ("AKA", "we", "us", "our"), you agree to these Membership Terms and Conditions.
Animal Keeper Academy provides online educational resources, guidance and community support for aspiring and student animal keepers.
By registering as a member or accessing our content, you confirm that you have read, understood and agreed to these terms. If you do not agree to these terms, you must not purchase or use membership services.

2. Membership Eligibility and Duration
Membership is open to individuals aged 16 years or older. If you are under 18 you should obtain permission from a parent or guardian before purchasing membership.
Animal Keeper Academy offers the following membership plans:
Monthly Academy Access
Month to month membership paid in advance and renewed monthly until cancelled.
Keeper Accelerator Plan
A six month access plan paid in full at the time of purchase. Access lasts six months from the purchase date.
Career Launch Pass
A four year access plan providing access to Animal Keeper Academy membership resources for a period of up to four years from the purchase date.
Membership benefits may include access to:
• live training sessions
• recorded educational resources
• guides and downloadable materials
• community spaces for discussion and support
Animal Keeper Academy is an evolving educational platform and the structure, topics and resources may change over time as the programme develops.

3. Payment, Fees and Renewal
All membership payments are processed securely through Stripe.
By purchasing a membership you agree to pay the applicable fee for your chosen membership plan.
Monthly Academy Access
• Payment is charged monthly in advance
• Membership renews automatically each month until cancelled
• You may cancel renewal at any time before the next billing date
Keeper Accelerator Plan
• Payment is made as a single upfront payment
• Membership access lasts six months from the purchase date
• This plan does not automatically renew
Career Launch Pass
• Payment is made as a single upfront payment
• Membership access remains active for up to four years from the purchase date
If payment fails or cannot be processed, access to membership content may be suspended until payment is successfully completed.

4. Cancellation and Refunds
Monthly Academy Access
Members may cancel their subscription at any time through their payment provider or by contacting Animal Keeper Academy.
Cancellation will stop future billing but access will remain active until the end of the current billing period.
Keeper Accelerator Plan and Career Launch Pass
These plans are purchased as upfront access plans and are non refundable once access has been granted, except where required by law.
Because membership provides immediate access to digital educational materials and resources, refunds are generally not provided once access has been granted.
Membership includes access to educational opportunities rather than guaranteed attendance at specific sessions. Missed sessions do not entitle members to refunds.
Refunds will not be provided for unused membership time.

5. Member Rules and Code of Conduct
Members are expected to behave respectfully within the Animal Keeper Academy community.
Members agree not to:
• harass or intimidate other members
• share offensive or abusive content
• spam or promote unrelated services
• disrupt live sessions or community discussions
Animal Keeper Academy reserves the right to suspend or terminate membership access without refund where a member breaches community standards or behaves in a way that harms the learning environment.

6. Account Access and Sharing
Membership access is granted to a single individual and must not be shared with others.
Members must not share login credentials, access links or membership content with non members.
Each membership is intended for individual personal use and may not be used by organisations, teams or groups unless explicitly agreed in writing.
If Animal Keeper Academy reasonably believes that account sharing or unauthorised access has occurred, we reserve the right to suspend or terminate membership without refund.

7. Use of Content and Intellectual Property
All training materials, guides, videos, resources and content provided by Animal Keeper Academy remain the intellectual property of Animal Keeper Academy unless otherwise stated.
Members may use the materials for personal educational use only.
Members must not:
• redistribute membership materials
• share download links or recordings publicly
• upload content to other websites or social media
• resell or reproduce materials in any form
Unauthorised sharing of paid content may result in immediate termination of membership access.

8. Unauthorised Recording or Redistribution
Members must not record, download, reproduce, distribute or publicly share Animal Keeper Academy training materials, videos, guides or live sessions without prior written permission.
This includes sharing content on social media platforms, websites, file sharing services or other public or private communities.
Unauthorised distribution of membership content may result in immediate termination of membership access without refund.

9. Community Access
Membership may include access to a private online community, including but not limited to a private Facebook group.
Access to the community is granted while membership is active.
If membership is cancelled, expires or is terminated, Animal Keeper Academy reserves the right to remove the member from the community.
Community spaces are moderated to maintain a safe and supportive learning environment.

10. Live Session Recording
Animal Keeper Academy live sessions, workshops and webinars may be recorded for the purpose of providing replay content to members and for limited marketing and promotional purposes.
By participating in live sessions you acknowledge that recordings may include audio, video, chat messages or questions submitted during the session.
Members who prefer not to appear in recordings may choose to participate using chat only or keep their camera disabled.
Recordings will be made available to members as part of the membership resource library.

11. Live Session Scheduling
Animal Keeper Academy aims to deliver live sessions according to the published schedule wherever possible.
However, live sessions may occasionally need to be rescheduled due to circumstances including illness, annual leave, professional commitments, technical issues or other unforeseen circumstances.
Where this occurs, reasonable efforts will be made to provide an alternative session date or access to recorded content.
Changes to the timing or scheduling of live sessions do not constitute grounds for refunds.
The frequency and format of live sessions may evolve as Animal Keeper Academy develops.

12. Educational Disclaimer
Animal Keeper Academy provides educational information, guidance and career advice based on industry experience.
Participation in membership or training does not guarantee employment, placements or career outcomes within the animal care industry.
Information provided through Animal Keeper Academy should not be considered legal, recruitment or employment advice.
Members remain responsible for their own career decisions, applications and professional development.

13. Limitation of Liability
Animal Keeper Academy will not be liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential loss arising from the use of membership services, resources or advice.
Nothing in these terms excludes liability where it cannot legally be excluded under applicable law.

14. Privacy and Data Protection
Animal Keeper Academy collects and processes personal data in accordance with applicable data protection laws including the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR).

15. Modifications to Terms
Animal Keeper Academy reserves the right to update or amend these Membership Terms from time to time.
Where significant changes are made, members will be notified. Continued use of membership services after updates indicates acceptance of the revised terms.

16. Termination
Animal Keeper Academy may terminate membership access immediately where:
• these terms are breached
• membership content is redistributed without permission
• behaviour harms the community environment
Members may stop using the service at any time by cancelling their membership or allowing access to expire.

17. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the UK
Any disputes arising from these terms will be subject to the jurisdiction of the UK courts.
